![]() This time of year is typically when I share my latest batch of handmade pumpkins. However, this year I did not make the first one. Nope. Not. A. Single. Pumpkin. These thrown and sculpted pieces take a great deal of time, so I thought I'd create pieces not limited to a season. Instead, I have ventured into the realm of the face jug. Attempting animals I've never made before has been challenging and extremely rewarding. Each has its own distinctive personality. Some are happy, but for some reason, the most fun to make have been the angry ones. Not sure why that is.... Bottom line: There's nothing like having an idea in your head and bringing it to fruition with your hands, clay and glaze. If you know, you know. Amirite, fellow clay artists??? I will be sharing these new pieces on my Etsy site soon. Check out https://krislondonpottery.etsy.com/ Here is a sneak peek at one of my favorites....

AuthorI love to work with clay, cook, travel, scuba dive, and laugh with friends. I have a potty mouth and enjoy a good adult beverage. Don't ask me what I think unless you REALLY want to know. Archives
